Getting Here
International Travel
Check with your government for information on required documents and arrangements that you will need for travel to the Netherlands. If you require a confirmation letter for your visa application, contact us.
Public Transportation
Train service between Amsterdam Schiphol Airport and The Hague’s two main stations — Den Haag Centraal and Den Haag HS — is operated by NS. For schedules and ticketing, visit ns.nl.
Local tram and bus services in The Hague are operated by HTM. For routes and timetables, visit htm.nl. The World Forum is accessible via tram lines 1, 16, and 17, and bus line 21.

Internet access
Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the Conference venue.
Cloakroom
A complimentary cloakroom is located at the entrance to the Conference area. Items are left at the owner’s risk.
Parking
Paid parking is available in the underground garage at the World Forum.
Catering
Refreshments will be available throughout the Conference at the delegates’ lounge in the World Forum main foyer, and at the OPCW cafeteria on the first floor of OPCW Headquarters. Lunch options are available for purchase.
Religious and Reflection Spaces
Separate male and female prayer rooms are available on the second floor of the World Forum, in the Kilimanjaro Room. These spaces are open to all participants seeking a quiet place for prayer or reflection during the Conference.
Accessibility
The World Forum and OPCW Headquarters offer barrier-free access, with elevators to all levels and accessible toilet facilities on each floor. Wheelchair spaces can be arranged in the King Willem-Alexander Theatre by contacting the Technical Secretariat.
Hearing aid support is provided via an induction loop system in the King Willem-Alexander Theatre. To use it, set your hearing aid to the ‘T’ position.
Security
Every precaution is taken to ensure that the Conference is safe and secure. Security personnel are present at all times at the World Forum, OPCW Headquarters, and at associated Conference events.
Security Screening
All participants will be screened each time they enter the World Forum. Please allow extra time, especially on the first morning of the Conference, to clear security.
The use of phones, cameras, recording devices, and radio transmitters may be restricted in certain areas.
Baggage must not be left unattended. Ensure all baggage is properly tagged. The OPCW will not be held responsible for lost items or for the removal and destruction of unattended baggage deemed suspicious.
Health and Safety
All participants are requested not to enter the World Forum or OPCW Headquarters if they have been diagnosed or have had symptoms of an acute respiratory illness in the last 5 days.
In Case of Emergency
Medical and Other Emergencies. For emergency services (fire, medical, police), call 112.
In case of fire, immediately exit the building via the nearest safe exit. Do not use elevators. Leave belongings behind. Do not return until authorities confirm it is safe.
Non-emergency Medical Assistance. First aid facilities are located on the first floor of the World Forum.
On-site security. A security office is located on the first floor of the World Forum and will respond to any emergencies or security situations during the Conference.
