“I am confident that the already excellent cooperation established between Greece and the OPCW during this first decade, will continue and be further enhanced in the future, to the benefit of our common efforts for a safer world, free of chemical weapons and threats, where the pursuit of chemistry exclusively for peaceful purposes is safeguarded through the Convention’s full and effective application. Into reaching this end, I would like to assure you, Mr Director General of Greece’s unwavering support.

Your outstanding leadership of the OPCW and the inspiration you personally provide to its deliberations and work will greatly contribute to the Organization’s continuing success in the years to come”.
