On 16 June 2011 the OPCW Director-General, Ambassador Ahmet Üzümcü, delivered a keynote speech at the annual NATO Conference on Weapons of Mass Destruction (WMD) Arms Control, Disarmament and Non-proliferation. This year’s conference was held in Bergen, Norway, and brought together representatives of a large number of governments, international agencies and non-governmental organisations.
