Fellowship Programme

The Fellowship Programme facilitates scientists and engineers from Member States whose economies are developing or in transition to gain experience by working for a limited period of time in advance laboratories in other Member States.

The prospective fellows are expected to tie up all necessary arrangements, including acceptance by the institution receiving the fellow, prior to submitting an application to the Secretariat for the sponsorship. The forms of support may include travel grant, fellowship allowance and health insurance.

Objective

A particular objective of this programme is to build capacity and train personnel in scientific institutions of the Member States concerned while facilitating exchange of scientific and technical information and strengthening cooperation between such institutions.
