Participants at a Train the Trainer’s course for Russian-speaking instructors, which was held in Svetlaya Rotcha, Belarus, from 24 to 28 August 2015.

A course for Russian-speaking instructors on assistance and protection against chemical weapons was co-organized by the Government of Belarus and OPCW and was held in the Institute for Retraining and Professional Development in Svetlaya Rotcha, Belarus, from 24 to 28 August 2015.

The course provided an opportunity to 13 experts from 9* States Parties to develop their skills in planning, designing, conducting and evaluating training courses. As the main part of this course, participants were responsible for preparing for and providing training to other participants in preparation for their role of instructors in their respective countries. Additionally, they were given a variety of tasks, including command roles during practical exercises to ensure that they were fully cognizant of all aspects of chemical emergency response.
