Dear Sir/Madam

We are 5th grade students from a school in Villanueva del Río y Minas (Seville).

We are writing to you to thank you for the work you do at this organisation (OPCW) as well as to show you our most sincere appreciation for the important work that you do. Now that the Peace Day is around the corner, we will remember the beauty of living in harmony and without wars.

We would like to thank you for fighting against having weapons in the world that could destroy people’s lives, which is the most precious thing that we all have. We hope that every day more countries join this organisation and that the entire world becomes part of it and agrees not to produce chemical weapons any more.

As a token of appreciation for your work, we encourage you to keep on fighting in favour of the destruction of these weapons in the whole world. You have already saved many lives and thanks to that, you won the Nobel Peace Prize. For all that, we hope that you carry on with this gratifying work of liberating the world.

Kind regards from a group of kids that the only thing they want is that peace reigns in the world,

Students from 5th grade, class B.
