Assistance and Protection Branch

The Assistance and Protection Branch (APB) of the OPCW works to provide States Parties with information about a variety of protective measures against chemical weapons. It supplies expert advice, and assistance to a State Party, when requested, in identifying how its programmes for the development and improvement of a protective capacity against chemical weapons can be implemented.

APB is looking for an intern to work with the Protection Databank. The duties of the intern would centre around updating and improving this database, by analysing and updating the content as well as developing a list of participants and the training they have participated in. The intern will also assist with the preparation of presentations for assistance and protection training sessions.

Potential applicants should have good computer skills and excellent knowledge of English as well as another working language of the OPCW. The internship will be for a period of 3-6 months, beginning in the autumn of 2011
