In conjunction with Remembrance Day, the OPCW Technical Secretariat organised a special media programme in cooperation with the Foreign Press Association of the Netherlands.

The 2-hour programme included a session with the Director-General, Ambassador Rogelio Pfirter; a presentation on the OPCW's verification activities by the Director of Verification, Dr Horst Reeps; and a demonstration by the OPCW Inspectorate and equipment store.

Eleven journalists participated in the programme representing media from Bulgaria, China, France, Germany, Mexico, Russia, Spain, the United Kingdom and the United States.
