INFORMAL DISCUSSIONS WITH REPRESENTATIVES OF CHEMICAL INDUSTRY ASSOCIATIONS ON THE FIRST CHEMICAL WEAPONS CONVENTION REVIEW CONFERENCE
THE HAGUE

1. The Technical Secretariat (hereinafter “the Secretariat”) of the Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) wishes to inform Member States that it will host an informal meeting with representatives of chemical industry associations on 7 March 2003 from 10:00 to 13:00 at OPCW headquarters in The Hague. The Secretariat has arranged the meeting in order to give these representatives an opportunity to discuss with the OPCW issues related to the First Chemical Weapons Convention (CWC) Review Conference. Delegations from Member States are welcome to attend the meeting.
2. The meeting will be conducted in English; no interpretation services will be available.
