Participation by Non-Governmental Organisations and Industry The Ninth Session of the Conference of the States Parties to the Chemical Weapons Convention (CSP-9) will convene at the Netherlands Congress Centre in The Hague, the Netherlands, from 29 November to 3 December 2004. Non-governmental organisations, including industry representatives and industry associations which have an interest in the activities of the OPCW and wish to attend the Conference, should apply to the Media and Public Affairs Branch of the Technical Secretariat, preferably before 8 November 2004. They may be invited (subject to the decision of the Conference) to attend public meetings of the Plenary of the Conference. Applications should include a description of those activities of the non-governmental organisations that are relevant to the purpose of the Chemical Weapons Convention, and information on its sources of funding.
