NOTE BY THE EXECUTIVE SECRETARY

TRUST FUND FOR REGIONAL SEMINARS

1.       In accordance with Financial Regulation 6.5, the Executive Secretary herewith informs the Commission that a Trust Fund for Regional Seminars has been established.  The purpose of the Trust Fund is to assist in funding the costs of regional seminars.  The first contribution of US$ 9,991 was received from the Government of Norway in September 1994.  Further contributions are expected to be received by the end of 1994 from the International Support Centre (US$ 5,300), from the Harvard Sussex Program (US$ 10,000), and from the Government of Sweden (SEK 80,000).

2.       In accordance with Financial Regulation 6.6, the Executive Secretary is required to report to the Commission on the transactions in this Trust Fund account and to administer this Trust Fund in accordance with the Financial Regulations and Rules.
