Addendum

The Government of Brazil on 13 March 1996 deposited its instrument of ratification of the Convention with the Secretary-General of the United Nations. Thus five additional States have deposited an instrument of ratification during the intersessional period covered by this Report, and the total number of ratifications now stands at 49 (subparagraph 2.2 of PC-XIII/7).
