NOTE BY THE EXECUTIVE SECRETARY

THE CHARTER OF THE PROVIDENT FUND

In my capacity as Chairman of the Provident Fund of the Preparatory Commission for the Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons and in accordance with the decision of the Commission contained in subparagraph 6.3 of PC-VIII/18, I hereby submit the Charter of the Provident Fund incorporating the changes suggested by the Finance Group in its Fourth and Fifth Reports (PC-IX/A/WP.1 and PC-X/A/WP.2) for the Commission's consideration and approval.

The Charter of the Provident Fund is contained in document PC-X/3, dated 7 March 1995 and replaces the earlier version contained in document PC-VIII/5, dated 19 September 1994.
