NOTE BY THE EXECUTIVE SECRETARY

TRUST FUND FOR REGIONAL SEMINARS

Immediately prior to the Ninth Session of the Commission, the Executive Secretary reported the establishment of the Trust Fund for Regional Seminars (PC-IX/2), as well as the first contribution to that Fund.  In the period since the Ninth Session of the Commission contributions have been received from the International Support Centre (USD 5,000) in December 1994, from the Government of Switzerland (USD 10,000) in January 1995, from the Government of Sweden (USD 10,697) in February 1995 and from the Government of Canada (Dfl. 22,255) in March 1995.  In a letter dated 9 March 1995 the Government of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland undertook to contribute £10,000 to this Trust Fund.
