NOTE BY THE DIRECTOR-GENERAL

PROVISIONAL AGENDA OF THE EIGHTH SESSION OF
THE CONFERENCE OF THE STATES PARTIES

1. In accordance with Rule 12 of the Rules of Procedure of the Conference of the States Parties (hereinafter “the Conference”), the Director-General hereby submits the provisional agenda of the Eighth Session of the Conference as drawn up by the Executive Council at its Thirty-Third Session.

2. Should the Director-General receive, by 19 September 2003, any request under Rule 14 of the Rules of Procedure of the Conference for the inclusion of a supplementary item in the agenda of the Eighth Session of the Conference, any such item will be incorporated in a supplementary list, which will be circulated to members of the OPCW no later than 29 September 2003.
