DECISION

REQUEST BY THE RUSSIAN FEDERATION

FOR APPROVAL TO USE A CHEMICAL WEAPONS PRODUCTION FACILITY (LOADING OF CHEMICAL SUB-MUNITIONS INTO MUNITIONS)

AT OJSC “KHIMPROM”, NOVOCHEBOKSARSK,

FOR PURPOSES NOT PROHIBITED UNDER THE CONVENTION

The Conference of the States Parties,

Upon the recommendation of the Executive Council at its Twenty-Fifth Session
(EC-XXV/DEC.6, dated 28 June 2001),

Hereby:

Approves the request to use the chemical weapons production facility (loading of chemical sub-munitions into munitions) at Open Joint Stock Company “Khimprom” in Novocheboksarsk, Russian Federation, for purposes not prohibited under the Convention.
