DECISION

REQUEST BY THE RUSSIAN FEDERATION

TO USE THE CHEMICAL WEAPONS PRODUCTION FACILITY,

(FILLING OF HYDROCYANIC ACID INTO MUNITIONS)

AT OJSC "ORGSTEKLO", DZERZHINSK,

FOR PURPOSES NOT PROHIBITED UNDER THE CONVENTION

The Conference of the States Parties,

Upon the recommendation of the Executive Council at its Twenty-Third Session (EC-XXIII/DEC.2, dated 21 February 2001),

Hereby:

Approves the request to use the chemical weapons production facility (filling of hydrocyanic acid into munitions), Open Joint Stock Company "Orgsteklo", Dzerzhinsk, Russian Federation, for purposes not prohibited under the Convention.
