DECISION

Request FROM THE RUSSIAN FEDERATION

TO USE THE chemical weapons production facility

(FILLING MUSTARD GAS-LEWISITE MIXTURE INTO MUNITIONS) IN

CHAPAEVSK, for purposes not prohibited under the Convention

The Conference

Upon the recommendation of the Executive Council at its Seventeenth Session (EC-XVII/DEC.5, dated 2 December 1999);

Hereby:

Approves the request to use the chemical weapons production facility (filling mustard gas-lewisite mixture into munitions) at Open Joint Stock Company "Srednevolzhski Chemical Plant", in Chapaevsk, the Russian Federation, for purposes not prohibited under the Convention.
