1. In accordance with Rule 12 of the Rules of Procedure of the Conference of the States Parties the Director-General hereby submits the provisional agenda of the Fifth Session of the Conference of the States Parties as drawn up by the Executive Council at its Eighteenth Session (EC-XVIII/2, dated 18 February 2000).

2. Should the Director-General receive, by 14 April 2000, any request under Rule 14 of the Rules of Procedure of the Conference of the States Parties for the inclusion of a supplementary item on the agenda of the Fifth Session of the Conference of the States Parties, any such item will be placed on a supplementary list which will be circulated to members of the Organisation not later than 25 April 2000.
