REQUEST FROM A STATE PARTY

TO USE A CHEMICAL WEAPONS PRODUCTION FACILITY

FOR PURPOSES NOT PROHIBITED UNDER THE CONVENTION

The Conference

Recalling the recommendation of the Executive Council at its Fifteenth Session (EC-XV/DEC.9, dated 29 April 1999);

Hereby:

Approves the use of the chemical weapons production facility specified in the annex to the Report of the Director-General (EC-XV/HP/DG.1, dated 31 March 1999 and the corrigendum to the annex as contained in EC-XV/NAT.6, dated 27 April 1999) for purposes not prohibited under the Convention.
