The Conference

In accordance with the recommendation of the Executive Council at its Seventh Session (EC-VII/DEC.1, dated 18 November 1997),

Approves a request from the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland to use a chemical weapons production facility for purposes not prohibited under the Convention.
