Article X, paragraph 7, of the Convention requires a State Party to provide assistance through the Organisation and to elect one or more of three measures:
In the case of a State Party with a developing economy and no experience of chemical protection, a possibility would be to select the option of Article X, paragraph 7 (c) and, not later that 180 days after the Convention entered into force for it, declare what kind of assistance it might provide.
