The Eastern European Group

An unofficial list

The Eastern European Group has twenty-five Members.

The Group designates five members of the Executive Council. At present, from 12 May 2005 to 11 May 2006, the following are the Member States of the Eastern European Group to the Executive Council: Poland, Romania, Russian Federation, Serbia and Montenegro, and Ukraine.

  10. Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia acceded 20-06-97

* This grouping is unofficial and is based on the listing in the United Nations Handbook 1995 which takes into account UN General Assembly Resolutions 1991 (XVIII) of 1963 and 33/138 of 1978. The groupings are under review and will be updated based on the situation prevailing on the ground in the context of the OPCW in the near future but will remain unofficial till a decision is reached on this issue at the United Nations in New York. The OPCW does not take any responsibility for errors or omissions in this regard.
