Title : Decision: Proposals for a Multi-Year Payment Plan to Regularise the Payment of Outstanding Annual Contributions

Description : Approves the multi-year payment plans annexed hereto; Encourages each State Party that is in arrears in respect of advances to the Working Capital Fund or of its annual contributions to submit to the Secretariat a proposal for the creation of a multi-year payment plan for the State Party to regularise the payment of its outstanding contributions by eliminating the arrears; Authorises the Council at its Fifty-First Session to consider and approve any proposal for a multi-year payment plan to be submitted by any State Party with a payment due date during 2008; Further authorises the Director-General to enter into a multi-year payment plan with a State Party in accordance with the decision of the Conference and the Council on that multi-year payment plan; and Requests the Secretariat to submit a report to it each year, through the Council, on the status of the implementation by the States Parties concerned of agreed multi-year payment plans as at the end of the quarter that falls immediately before the session of the Council that precedes the session of the Conference.
