2011 Summer Programme to Link with International Conference on “Nuclear Dilemmas”
Special Announcement
The 2nd annual Summer Programme on WMD Disarmament and Non-proliferation, to be held from 29 August to 2 September 2011 in The Hague, will be linked to an international conference organised by the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Kazakh mission to the Netherlands.
The international conference, entitled “Nuclear Dilemmas: Present and Future”, will take place at The Hague’s famous Peace Palace on 30 August. It has been timed to coincide with the second day of the Summer Programme agenda, which focuses on issues relating to the Comprehensive Nuclear Test Ban Treaty and Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty.
By linking the two events, selected invited speakers for the international conference will address the morning session of the Summer Programme on nuclear issues, and participants in the Summer Programme are invited to attend the conference at the Peace Palace.
“Nuclear Dilemmas: Present and Future” is the fourth in a series of international conferences sponsored by the Government of Kazakhstan and the host countries.
